Natalie is a firecracker; fiercely loyal, with keen eyes, a quick tongue, a curious mind, and a lion’s heart.

Things are seen so beautifully and intricately clearly in retrospect, in reflection. More obvious, once digested and dissected. Distilled and sorted. Categorised neatly and swallowed. The goal is integration. The challenge is, purely and simply, human. The key is being open to looking at all.

We cannot project forward with any degree of certainty until we understand the cycles and secrets of our past, and until we are willing to look at them full in the face. We must be ready to change. Open to change. Able to exercise our free will in the face of every predetermined choice laid down behind us that led us here in the first place.

And yet… If you look back, you will see footsteps in the snow, hear whispers in the woods, smell memories on the breeze, touch something quiet that was guarded well within the lockboxes of our minds and hearts. Throw open the doors. Have the courage to see what comes spilling out. And remember, even when all else is dark, the white light of Hope remains.

I am firmly rooted in the belief that we live in an enchanted world. Even now, as I write this, I am studying many different branches, ways of knowing: Sethian Gnosticism, the Elder Futhark runes, “dirt sorcery” à la Aidan Wachter (of Six Ways, Weaving Fate and most recently Changeling fame). I am a mage with her hands on the Earth, with wind in her hair and wonder in her eyes. I talk to the birds that tussle over the seeds I lay out in my garden. I greet the cattle that come close at the farmer’s fence with their huge Moon eyes and searching black tongues. I watch the waters flow in the rivers and streams wandering through the place I call home, endlessly seeping back into the sea and stone.

Magic is everywhere, in everything. It is all around us and within us. Every breath is a blessing, and it is my mission to share the light in my heart and the swell of my chest as I think on how grateful I am to simply be here at all.

I hope to share even a small spark of my gift and my guidance with you.
